Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
Hours are published for 2 days a week. Typical hours are 8 AM–10 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Vento’s Pizza at (412) 362-1323; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is ventospizzapittsburgh.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Traffic in Pittsburgh peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Been coming since young and especially when I worked in the area when mr vento was still in the restaurant daily and even when he was not as frequently there and after he passed. The owners have absolutely carried his torch with supreme honors! Its been awhile since I could but I stopped in and service was delightful, impeccably clean establishment and the food was incredibly delicious, I went at a very slow period but the order was out with top notch speed. I highly recommend stopping in and im gonna keep exploring the menu they offer as I only got a personal pizza on lunch break, but I was astonished how perfect and and delicious it was, not that I expected low, I just was just amazed how high quality it was, and extremely flavorful!

The food doesn’t taste like anything the way way it did , when the Italian people was operating the restaurant. Everything they served you were delicious. Now you are being served over fried dry french fries. Some people may say the food is good. We all have our opinions. Some people may be high & every thing taste good to them & some people may be hungry as heck & every thing taste good when you’re hungry . Some people can eat pretty much of anything. I ordered a Reuben sandwich with fries & a cheese burger with fries total $32.08. It may have been worth it again ( Maybe) if it french fries was french fries , instead of overly dry fries & the Rueben taste like a Reuben sandwich, that was tasteless, if it weren’t for the Thousand Island sauce, it wouldn’t been worth eating, even the dang cheese burger sandwich didn’t taste like a burger. Dang. That’s one of the reasons why I stop eating out. Ever since the Pandemic started. Nothing has ever been the same since. Good don’t taste like food, the price you paid for a decent food, detergent etc you are now paying a higher price for mini size now. Gee. If you like Vinto’s food good for you. There bottle of soda’s are five bucks. Are y

I ordered buffalo bacon cheese fries and breaded wing dings. The bacon was fully cooked! The cheese was hot (not warm) and the fries were perfect for me. My only issue is that I didnt specify that I wanted full wings. The wing dings were fried to my liking. They had a good crisp and good flavor. Shout out to both men behind the counter.
